Bahrain has welcomed ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war, commending recent phone calls by the US President Donald Trump with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a positive step towards a ceasefire and the promotion of regional and international peace.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry expressed Bahrain’s appreciation for the diplomatic efforts of Saudi Arabia and its leading role in hosting new US-Russia talks in Jeddah on Sunday to address the Ukraine crisis .
