Kim Kardashian and Kate Moss recently revealed they are besties with Kate being revealed as the new face of Kim's shapewear brand SKIMS.
The two were recently photographed alongside Moss's daughter, Lila Grace getting a tour of the Vatican.
They've actually been pals since 2014 and have partied it up in Ibiza and Miami in the past.
Their unlikely friendship has made us think about other unusual celebrity pairings and we've compiled a list of the top ten most unexpected ones.
1. Dot Cotton and Lady Gaga
Chain smoking Eastender's legend Dot aka actress June Brown met Lady Gaga on Graham Norton's chat show in 2019 and the two just hit it off immediately.
Gaga loved June's "amazing" outfit and told her: "I want to drink from your cup to see what those genes are."
Despite an age difference of 59 years, June, then 92, revealed Gaga, 33, had even asked her out to a nightclub.
2. Andy Murray and Ben Stiller
Wimbledon champion Andy posted a picture of himself with Hollywood Alister, comedian and director Ben Stiller and his then actress wife Christine Taylor in New York. in 2013.
Andy met them after one of his matches at the US Open and later tweeted: “Got to meet christine taylor and ben stiller after the match today…very cool, nice people #averagejoes”
Ben is a big tennis fan and insiders say he even managed to make Andy Murray smile, which was quite a feat at the time.
Andy of course does attract the big names and has hung out with David Beckham, comedian James Corden and Scottish DJ sensation Calvin Harris in the past.
3. Harry Styles and Phoebe Waller-Bridge
Harry, 27, and Fleabag creator Phoebe, 36, got everyone's tongues wagging when she guested on his video for the single, Treat People With Kindness.
The two wore matching outfits and danced together. The black-and-white video - which was filmed a few months before the first lockdown last year and Phoebe was initially suggested to Harry for the video by the directors.
However when they got together it was magical and Phoebe ended up buying everyone cupcakes on set.
The two were said to have a mutual admiration for one another, despite their unlikely friendship.
4. Bette Midler and 50 Cent
A large age gap and the difference in their backgrounds would suggest that Bette and Fiddy wouldn't even acknowledge one another. However they met while working on the New York Restoration Project in 2009 and really hit it off.
Bette from Hawaii had popped along to Jamaica Queens where 50 lived and said: "He's really made my life worth living. [50] has been with me through thick and thin."
50 Cent said later: “Me and Bette collaborating would be really hot. But I’d need to make something new for her. For the right song, we’d definitely get together.”
5. Courtney Cox and Ed Sheeran
Friends star Courtney seems to be from a different generation and work circle, but her friendship with Ed Sheeran has broken through the boundaries.
The two talents were introduced by a mutual friend, and Ed ended up living rent free with Courtney for three months in Malibu as he wrote his last album X.
Ed was responsible for setting Courtney up with Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid.
He also helped her to film her ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, nominated by Jennifer Aniston, with whom he also is pals. with..
6. Russell Brand and Dame Helen Mirren
The very unlikely pair who have an age difference of thirty years first got to know one another during the remake of Arthur in 2011.
The pair appeared to be very close when Russell snogged the Oscar-winning actress during promotion of the film and Helen gave him a bath before he handed her a pair of his pants.
Helen also came to Russell's defence during the 'Sachsgate' row, and said: "He's got a great heart and he's incredibly smart."
It really made me cross because that's what comedians are for and that's what makes them so valuable to us.
"Sometimes they step over the line but if they didn't do that they wouldn't be of the value that they are."
7. Steven Seagal and Vladimir Putin
An extremely weird and unexpected friendship arose between Hollywood hero Steven Seagal and President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
A long-time admirer of Putin, Steven who has been a Russian citizen since 2016, recently joined a pro-Kremlin party.
Bob Van Ronkel explained: "I was hired to bring Steven Seagal to perform with his band for another event with President Putin, so kind of was responsible for that introduction, and Steven becoming best friends with him."
Steven has even defended Putin after vote fixing claims saying: "For anyone to think that Vladimir Putin had anything to do with fixing the election, or even that the Russians have that kind of technology, is stupid."
8. Mila Kunis and Princess Beatrice
The Actress and the Princess sounds like a movie plotline - or the opposite of Harry and Meghan but Mila and her boyfriend Ashton Kutcher used to be seen out regularly with Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend Dave Clark. The couples have even holidayed together in St Tropez.
They went on a pub crawl in London and Princess Beatrice was also said to have helped plan Mila's hen party too.
However it's unclear whether they are still besties as Beatrice 'amicably split from Dave in 2016 and it's possible that fractured the close circle of friendship.
9. Lindsay Lohan and former TOWIE star Vas J Morgan.
The Hollywood actress and the reality show star? The pals were seen partying in London, holidaying Ibiza, and even at the gym around 2014.
Vas said of their friendship: "Me and Lindsay hang out all the time, she's one of my closest friends. We work out and go to the gym every day."
Celebs Go Dating star Vas is also pals with Rita Ora, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner but that's because he had his own fashion blog and even has his own restaurant Chrome Lounge away from the cameras.
10. Eminem and Sir Elton John
The unlikely duo became friends after people accused Eminem of being 'homophobic' in his lyrics.
To show they were wrong Eminem performed 'Stan' with Sir Elton at the 2001 Grammy Awards.
Eminem said later: "We were debating on whether I was going to perform the Grammys or not. I was like, 'The only way I'll perform at the Grammys is with Elton John.' The idea of it started becoming more, 'OK, this is a way to really flip it around and really f*** people's heads up." And it really did."
Elton also helped Eminem to beat his drug habit and even received two diamond-encrusted sex toys as a wedding gift from the rapper.
