Jeenbekov receives credentials from ambassadors of Russia, China, Italy, Czech Republic, Benin

Bishkek, Mar. 13, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov received credentials from Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation Nikolay Udovichenko, the People's Republic of China Du Dewen, Italian Republic Pasquale D’Avino, Czech Republic Rudolf Gickl and the Republic of Benin Noukpo Clement Kiki.

The head of state congratulated them on the start of the diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan, wishing great success in their activities, the press service of the Kyrgyz President’s Office reported.

During the conversation with each of the ambassadors, Jeenbekov noted that the Kyrgyz side attaches great importance to bilateral and multilateral cooperation in all spectra and areas related to economics, politics, tourism, education, science and technology, and other areas of mutual interest.

“I am confident that you will make maximum efforts to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations within the framework of international organizations, as well as friendship between the peoples of our countries,” the President stressed.

In turn, the ambassadors of Russia, China, Italy, the Czech Republic and Benin outlined the plans and tasks set for themselves to cooperate and bring together the peoples of the countries they represent with Kyrgyzstan. The diplomats assured the head of Kyrgyzstan that they would make every effort to stimulate and develop mutually beneficial relations in the trade, economic, political, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

With the ambassadors of Russia Udovichenko and China Du Dewen, the issues of upcoming state visits of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping to Kyrgyzstan were discussed.
